Intensive Family Preservation Therapist

Job Description

Become part of Klingberg Family Centers, Inc. dedicated team as an Intensive Family Preservation Worker!
Provide intensive home‑based services to families whose children are at imminent risk for being removed from their families or are being returned from out of home placement. Requires 24‑hour on‑call availability to assist with problem diffusion, structuring and resolution.
Work in a multi-disciplinary environment with a diverse client base. 

Provide an array of therapeutic services to clients within their homes and communities. 

Collaborate with outside agencies such as DCF.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree with at least two years experience working with at-risk families or Masters Degree with in-home experience.


Bilingual in Spanish.
Must possess sound professional training and experience in the field of human services with emphasis on family dynamics.

Familiarity with complexities of in-home protection services work.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
