Certified Occupational Therpist Assistant - Occ Therapy - PRN (as needed)

Job Description

Frye Regional Medical Center

  1. Implements and manages a specific and comprehensive Therapy Plan of Care as prescribed by a licensed occupational therapist.
  2. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
  3. Consistently documents at least the minimum number of units or procedures as defined per service area.
  4. Adheres to all mandatory meetings and/or training programs.
  5. Enhances professional growth and development through such activities as professional affiliations; participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops;’ and review of current literature.
  6. Provides supervision to Rehab technicians and volunteers.
  7. Supervises Therapy Students as assigned.
  8. Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
  9. Performs additional duties as requested by AD, Manager or area Supervisor.
  10. Adheres to Attendance Policy
  11. Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices
  12. Communication
