We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift, CMA or LPN - Medical Scribe to join our Physician Services team!

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician's encounter with the patient and others present.List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.Document any procedures performed by the physician.Scribe is responsible for entering attestation, sign and date all records at time of service.The scribes primary function is to act as a 'living recorder' with no clinical patient contact, eg.the scribe does not obtain vital signs, administer medications, or assist in medical procedures performed by the physician, nurse, or tech.

Job Requirements

Education:

High School diploma - required

Graduate of a CMA or LPN program - required


Certifications:

BLS - within 6 months of hire
